For most procedures, you will need to stay at least 3 to 7 days before returning home. This promotes proper healing, monitors you for complications immediately after surgery, and ensures it is safe for you to travel a longer distance. Staying in a local hotel keeps you close by and allows you the chance to relax and enjoy your recovery, instead of worrying about having to travel for post-operative appointments.
